Meet Your Coach - Mary Radu

Transforming Uncertainty and Confusion into Choice and Courageous Action

I am a life coach specializing in midlife career and lifestyle transitions. I enjoy being a pioneer in the emerging field known as Baby Boomers, The Third Age and Midlife Transition.

My mission is to support and guide my clients to find what will bring meaning at this point in their lives and inspire them to take purposeful action. I'm known as a coach who is compassionate and encouraging, collaborative and strategic, intuitive and trustworthy. I help you get clear on what you want in your life and develop a strategy plan to guide your actions. When you forget what's important, I will remind you of your values and hold you to your vision and your goals. When you experience successes, I'll be there to celebrate in your joy.

My passion is transforming the uncertainties of midlife changes into a discovery of energizing choices and courageously taken action on a path that is uniquely one's own. My vision for myself and my clients is simple: Find what's truly meaningful to you during your brief stay here on earth and leave this planet a better place because of your contribution. I believe when we are supported to act from that which we truly value we each have the potential to create miracles in our lives and for the people we touch.

Finding New Career and Life Paths

One of the greatest joys in my life is supporting people to find their own answers. My coaching success is based on a unique mix of professional and personal experiences.

My own professional transitions have led me through 25 years in the fields of human services, manufacturing, health care and information technology. I have held training, program development, management and consulting roles. I've developed a successful health care consulting business as well as my current coaching practice. I've lived the ups and downs of adult life including career and lifestyle changes, divorce, and caring for aged parents. This combination of experiences gives me the knowledge, skills and compassion to effectively guide my clients to discover their own energizing choices and support them to walk their unique path.

Personal Profile

I work from my home in St. Helena CA which I share with my husband, Rich, who grows grapes destined for Syrah wine. Gardening is one of my passions.I love watching the bulbs break through the ground announcing Spring. And it's such a pleasure to eat my freshly-picked tomatoes, warmed by the sun. Latin dance and NIA classes are my favorite form of exercise. I volunteer in my community as a CASA child advocate because I learned early in my life how important it is to have a caring adult speak for a child when she isn't able to speak for herself. Rich and I also love spending time in the vibrant city of San Francisco and traveling internationally.
